How to Find Us

Haliburton County is approximately 2.5 hours north of Toronto, about 3 hours west of Ottawa, just over an hour north of Peterborough, and about 40 minutes east of Bracebridge in Muskoka.

From Toronto via Hwy 400

Hwy 400 North through Barrie
Hwy 11 North to Bracebridge
Hwy 118 East to Carnarvon and Haliburton

From Toronto via Hwy 404

Hwy 404 (Don Valley Parkway) North to Newmarket
Turn right on Davis Drive (County Rd 31) East
Hwy 48 East
Hwy 48 North
Hwy 12 North
Hwy 48 East through Bolsover and Kirkfield to Coboconk
Hwy 35 North

From East of Toronto

Hwy 401, then Hwy 115/35 North from and then take
Hwy 35 North to Lindsay
(Or from Oshawa, take Simcoe St. to Hwy 7 and take Hwy 7/12 North and then East to Lindsay)
Through Lindsay, then Hwy 35 North
Travel through Coboconk and Norland

From Ottawa

Hwy 417 (the Queensway) West from Ottawa to Renfrew (Hwy 417 turns into Hwy 17). Turn left onto Hwy 132 West and travel through Shamrock and Dacre. Take Hwy 41 South to Denbigh. At Denbigh, take Hwy 28 West through Bancroft to Paudash. At Paudash, turn right onto Hwy 118 West and follow toward Haliburton.

From North Bay

Take Hwy 11 South to Bracebridge. Take the Hwy #118 cutoff east to Haliburton. Carnarvon is the first major intersection at the western border of Haliburton County, intersecting Hwy 118 and Hwy 35.

From Peterborough

Take Hwy 28 North to County Rd 23 North to Buckhorn. Turn right onto Hwy 507 North and follow to Gooderham. At the stop sign in Gooderham, turn left onto Hwy 503 and follow approximately 2 km. Turn right onto County Road 3 North (Buckhorn Road) towards Haliburton.
